|
Fort Worth, TX (December 13, 2005) – America One Television Network, the independent 24 hour sports and entertainment broadcast network, is pleased to announce that America One has been chosen as the exclusive network provider for the HEARTLAND POKER TOUR. Poker is a game of people. The HEARTLAND POKER TOUR (HPT) showcases all the drama, energy and emotion that humans possess. The HPT is a poker tournament where anyone can win and win big. HPT poker tournaments are held at select Heartland casinos; drawing hundreds of people to the opening round and always boiling down to a final table of six top players. HPT tapes this final table and creates two one-hour episodes with full commentary to be aired at a later date. The show is part drama, part reality television. It is younger, funnier, and more energetic than other poker shows. HPT has a great set, dynamic announcers, and fresh faces. Industry insiders have declared it to be the one of the best poker shows on television. "We're thrilled to be a part of the America One family of programming" said HPT co-founder Todd Anderson. "Our unique brand of TV poker has been a hit in the upper Midwest. Now millions of people around the country can enjoy it as well." America One is an independent full-service syndication and distribution television network for quality sports and entertainment programming. America One programming is seen in over 60 percent of the United States and Puerto Rico via 155 major network and independent broadcast television stations and regional sports networks.
